Melbourne, April 3. The Mayor's ludian Famine Relief Fund amounts to over £4000.

Dnringjthe past year, in England, upwards of sixty-four tons of beef, mutton, veal, pork, fish', ham, etc., were destroyed as unfit for the food of human beings. The monthly meeting of the NeW Zealand Natives' Association takes place this evening. As several important matters will be discussed a full attendance of members is requested, ~ ~„ . The first meeting of the Auckland Ministers' Association since the recess will be held this afternoon in the'ol.C.A.|Rooms. After the election of officers, etc., the Rev. Dr. Wolfenden, from Victoria, will give an address. . The monthly meeting of Lodge Ara, No. 348,1.C., will be held this evening. Those interested in the Takapuna Hack Club Meeting are invited to attend a meeting at tho Lake Hotel to-night. Mr. R. G. Carr will sell to-day by auction (arms at Wayby and Ma'.uuangi; houses at Birkenhead and Keppell-street, Newton. The whole ot the properties have to be realised. A resident of Onehunga has received a cablegram informing him that he has drawn the horse Georgie in Tattersall's sweep on the Hawkesbury Handicap.
