MANGERE ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Mangere Road Board was held at the Board's office on the 29th March. There was a full attendance of members. Mr. Taylor was empowered to have the road to Mr. Horsocrof t's house repaired. The Board agreed that in future grazing licenses should be issued or transferred to ratepayers only. On the motion of the chairman a vote of thanks was passed to Mr. A. Robb, who acted in the capacity of architect for the new hall. As rauger, Mr. Timme was allowed to graze two horses on the reserves. Messrs. McKenzie and Anderson were authorised to get the work arranged for on the road to Week's Island. It was resolved to send orders to all who have roads fenced to erect swing gutes by the 30th April, otherwise the board would have such fences removed after that date. Mr. Taylor wis authorised to fix some of the cap stones with concrete on the approach to the Mangere Bridge, and to have a culvert made on the Cemetery Road, and also to have (he large ■tones and refuse from the Maogere quarry placed on tbe same road. The month's accounts were passed for payment, It was agreed to hold a special meeting of the Board ou the 12th of April.-[Own Correspondent.]
