MAORI ELECTION PETITION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Wednesday. The 'Western Maori election petition, in which Ropato To Ao petitions againsb the return of Henare Kailmu, was opened this morning before the Chief Justice and Mr. Justice Conolly. Mr. Baume, of Auckland, appears for Raihau, and Sir R. Stoub for the petitioner. The prooeodings are likely to last some days.
