IMPORTS. j Per Dingadee, from Wellington and East Coast ports: 41 sacks hides, 531 sacks bonedust, 9 sacks bark, 120 bars iron, 7 sacks seed, 40 kegs nails, 8 sacks bones, 33 sacks fungus, and sundries. The Union Company's steamer Dingadee, Captain J. S. Adams, arrived from Wellington and the East Coast at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Mr. H. E. Watts, the purser, reports that the steamer left Wellington at midnight on the 25th instant, Napier on the 27th, and Gisborne on the 29th. Called at Tologa Bay, Waipiroßay, TeAroroa, and Wliangapuroa, and left the latter place at 6.45 in. on the 30th, and arrived as stated. Experienced flue weather to Napier; thence to the East Cape strong south-east winds and heavy easterly sea, which necessitated delay at Gisborne and passing a number of the Bay ports; from the East Cape to arrival line weather prevailed. The Dingadee leaves for the East Coast and Wellington this evening. Early yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whangarei, and left for the same place again last night. 3 The Northern Company's steamer lona arrived yesterday morning from Mercury Bay, Kuaotunu, and Kennedy's Bay, and left for the Great Barrier at midnight. Yesterday moruing the Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford arrived from Whakatane and Tauranga. She leaves for Whakataue at noon to-morrow. The Northern Company's steamer Douglas arrived from Whangarei yesterday morning, and leaves for the same place again this eveuing. Last evening the Uuion Company's steamer Pukaki left for Westport. She will probably proceed to Wellington with a cargo of coal, and then go South to load produce at the Bluff, Oamaru, and Titnaru for this port. Yesterday the scow Rata sailed for Wellington. The auxiliary schooner Aotea left for the East Coast and Gisborne last evening, with a full general cargo. The American barque Portland Llovds commenced discharging her cargo from New York yesterday. Included in the cargo of the vessel is a considerable consignment of kerosene oil. Yesterday the scow Moana sailed from the Kaipara for this port with a cargo of timber. The barque Northern Chief has sailed from Newcastle for this port with a cargo of coal. Yesterday the barquentine Adelaide shifted over to the Railway Wharf to take in cargo for the Kaipara, for which place she will sail about Saturday next. The repairs to the American barque Sea King, in the Auckland Dock, are proceeding as rapidly as possible. All the copper hasbeen stripped from the vessel, and yesterday a large gang of men were engaged ill caulking the ship. Captain Pearce expects to have the new metal 011 the ship within the next ten days. _ Yesterday the barquentine River Hunter sailed from the Kaipara for Sydney with a cargo of timber. The scow Pirate has sailed from Newcastle for Gisborne with a cargo of coal. On Monday next the Union Company's steamer Poherua leaves the Bluff for this port She calls at Oamaru oil Tuesday and Timaru 011 Wednesday. The Melanesian Mission yacht Southern Cross left yesterday afternoon for Norfolk Island and Melanesia, a large number of ladies and gentlemen interested in mission work assembling on the wharf to witness the vessel's departure.
