[by telegbaph—own cobbespondent,] Paeroa, Friday. Adjutant Grant visited Faeroa to-day en route to the Thames, and during his short stay interviewed a, number of the most influential people of the town with the object of forming a rifle corps. He, met with great success. A large amount of support has been promised, and it is considered that an infantry corps forUhinemuri will before long be an accomplished fact. Adjutant Grant is well known in these parts, and this fact should materially assist in effecting the desired object, . - .
