The barquentine Pendle Hill sailed yesterday afternoon for Rookhampton with a full cargo of sulphur ore. At noon to-day the Union Company's steamer Flora leaves for East Coast and Southern ports. . THE ALAMEDA. The_ American mail steamer Alameda, Captain K. Van Oterendorp, arrived from Sydney shortly after one o'clock yesterday afternoon, after a very smart trip across. Mr. J. B. Button, the purser, to \rhom we are indebted for our files, etc., reports: The Alameda left Sydney at 5.10 p.m. on Monday last, and for the first two days met with a very heavy south-west swell, followed by fine weather to arrival. Stopped for the Auckland pilot at noon yesterday. Time, 3 days 16 hours 50 minutes. The Alameda leaves for Apia, Honolulu, and San Francisco at two o'clock this afternoon.

THE KIAORA.

Our Russ'll correspondent telegraphed yesterday:-" The sienalman reported that a three-masted vessel passed South tit 10 a.m. to-day, but was too far off to make her out; but thinks that it is the Kiaora. A small steamer also passed South at 4 p.m., probably the tugboat Nautilus in search of the Kiaora," Both vessels may be expected to make port this morning.

THE TASMANIA. The Huddart-Parker steamer Tasmania, from Sydney, may be expected to arrive early on Sunday morning next.
