General Gallieni, the new French Administrator of * Madagascar, has ordered the execution of the Hova Minister of the Interior for complicity in the recent rebellion, and also the uncle of the queen of the Hovas. The General declined to visit the Queen on the grounds that he thought it was her duty to call on him. The Premier of the Hovas resigned, and no successor lias been appointed.
