THE GREAT MUSICIAN.
Opt, whan o'er these hearts of ours l Strays the Great Musician's hand, We respond not to the music Meant to be so sweet ami grand. Fur the strings are jarred and brokin, Out of tune with all around; Either dumb or wildly clashing, They but make discordant sound. But tho Master's patient fingers On the keys are lingering still, Though He feels tbem throb and quiver Ue will tune them to his will: For hu knows the strength and beauty Hidden in each silent chord, And lie will not cease His efforts Till the harmony's restored.
