THE NAVY LEAGUE.
At the headquarters of the Navy League in London great) interest appears to be taken in the discussion in respect to' the League in the colonies. By the last mail we have received the following letter
13, Victoria-street, London, S.W. 24th Mm oh, 1896, Dbar Sib,--In the press cuttings, Which have been sent to the office, the Committee of the Navy League have observed the kind support which the New Zealand Herai.d has accorded to the objects of the League. and I am desired to forward you a copy of the following resolution which was passed at the last meeting of the Executive Committee, viz. j-Resolved, " That the best thanks of the Executive Committee be conveyed to the editor of the New Zealand Herald for the able manner in which he has advocated the objects of the League in his columns."— am, etc., A. M. Wilson, secretary.
