DEATH OF AN OLD TAURANGA RESIDENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH, —OWN CORRESPONDENT,] akqa, Monday, The unexpected demise of Mr. Firth Wrlgley, an old resident here of 23 years standing, came as a great surprise this morning. The deceased arrived in the colony at the age of 18 years, and after being at Nawmarketsotqe time, he engaged in mining mutters at the Thames. Mr. Wriglay oaroe to Taqranga 23 years ago, and went into business m & storekeeper, and since then has been in business as a native agent and genera! commission agent. Mr. VVrigley always took a _ prominent interest in local matters, having been a number of almost all the local bodies at one time or another. Ho leaves a widow and seven children and a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. His funeral will be attended by representatives of all the I local bodies in the town.
