Owens, Arrived from an Island oruise last night, with ft large u:»rgo of copra, cotton, pearlshell, etc. The vessel went through the Cook Group, and then oil to Palmerstsn Island and Niue, leaving the latter plaoqon the Ist Inst., and meeting with fine weather and moderate variable winds throughout the passage. The vessel will berth at the wharf to-day to discharge. The Union Company's steamer l'e Kapo. Captain J. Anderson, arrived from the South at 10,30 p.m. yesterday with a largo oargo of produce, The ■ purser reports that the steamer left the Bluff on the 6th inst, Oamaru on the 7th, Timnru on the Bth at 10.30 p.m. Rounded East Cape at 3,15 a.m., passed Cuvier Lighthouse nt 5.10 p. m. yesterday, arriving as above. Experienced fine weather, with strong south-west winds to arrival. The Te Kapo leaves for the Bluff on Thursday evening. The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from Whangarei last evening, and will be floated into the Auckland Dock this morning for cleaning and painting. Last evening the Northern Company's steamer Clansman left for Russell, Wlmngaroa. and Miuignnui. The Northern Company's steamer Argyle left for Kuaotunn and Mercury Bay last evening. She returns to-night, and leaves tor the Great Barrier at midnight. Last evening the Northorn Company's steamer Douglas left for Whangarei. The brigantine Gleaner. Captain T. J. Blackwell, arrived from Dunedin late on Sunday night, with a {ml cargo of produce. The master reports having sailed from Otago Heads on the night of April 28, and experienced strong south-west winds as far as the East (Jape, which was rounded on the 3rd inst.; thence strong northerly and westerly winds to arrival. The Gleaner has commenced discharging at the Quay-street jetty. The barque Acacia was towed down to the Thames last evening by the Nautilus, and loads timber at Bagnall's mill for Melbourne. This evening the Northern Company's steamer Waiotahi leaves for l'auranga and Opotiki. The lona takes up the Wellington's trip to Wlißiigarei this evening, leaving at seven o'clock. To-day the barque Commerzienrath Rodbertus will he floated out of the Auckland Dock.

The schooner Gisborne has sailed from Timaru from the Thames with a oargp of produce. On Sunday night the scow Pirate arrived off NRiinguru, from Gisborne, after a rough passage of eight days. A south-easter comme on, with a heavy sea, the scow ran for Marsdeu Point for shelter, aud was at anchor there last night, the weather being very threatening. Yesterday the schooner Annie Hill and Isabella Anderson, both sailed from the K&ipara for Dunedin. The Union Company's steamer Dingadee leaves Gisborne for the North this afternoon. She is expected to reach this port ou Thursday, and will leave for the hint Coast and Wellington on Friday evening. On April 2S, the barque Allouby arrived at Liverpool from this port after a passage of 117 days. The brigantine Anthons from Kai para to Fremantle, W.A., put into Portland, Victoria, on April 30, short of water. She resumed her voyage on the 2nd inst. Transhipments ex Tainui, from London, and Titania, from Glasgow, arrived by the Waihora from the South last night. Messrs. L D. Nathan and Co. are the local agents for both vessels.

THE TARAWERA. The Union Co.'s steamer Tarawera, Captain W. C. Sinclair, arrived from Sydney at 9.46 a.m. yesterday. Mr. A. C. Walker, the purser, to whom we are indebted for our files, reports:— The Tarawera left the Mar-garet-street Wharf, Sydney, at 8 p.m. on the (Jth inst,, and denied Jackson's Heads half-tin-hour later. Sighted the Three Kings at 9.45 a.m. on the 10th, Tiritiri at 8.10 a.m. yesterday, arriving as above. Experienced one weather throughout the passage. The Tarawera leaves for East Coast and Southern Ports this afternoon.

THE WAIHORA. Last evening the Union Company's steamer Waihora, Captain R. Neville, arrived from Southern and East Coast ports. Mr. H. C. Seigel, the purser, reports: The Waihora left Dunedin on the 6tn instant, Wellington pn the 9th, Napier on the 10th, and GUborue on the 10th at 9 p.m., arriving at 7.45 p.m. yesterday. Experienced light southerly winds to Wellington from thence strong south to S.E. winds to arrival. The Waihora proceeds on to Sydney at noon to-morrow.

THE MONOWAI. The Union Comoany's mail steamer Monowai arrived at San Francisco from this port on Saturday last, two days late.

THE ALAMEDA. The mail steamer Alameda left Sydney for this port last evening. She is due on Friday evening, and proceeds to Apia, Honolulu, and San Francisco at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

THE BURRUMBEET. The local agent*, Messrs. L P. Nathan and Co., inform us that owing to bid weather, the Huddart-Parker steamer Burrumbeet has been detained in the South, and will not reach this port until the 20tli instant. Her departure is fixed for 3 p.m. on the 21st. therichmond, Messrs. Donald and Edenborough's steamer Richmond is expected to arrive from Rarotonga and Tahiti to-day, and leaves for the same places again on Thursday.

THE GOTHIC. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Gothic left Capetown forHobart and Wellington on Friday evening last.
