In the intercolonial doubles, Colquhoun and Miss Shaw beat Parker and Hiss Nunnelly by two to one. In the Intercolonial Doubles the dashing play of the New Zealanders was loudly applauded, especially that of Miss Nunnelly, who at times eleotrified the spectators with brilliant strokes. Although the visitors got away with a start, the local pair rapidly gained on them. Analysis of sets show New South Wales 16 games, New Zealand 15. On the last set twelve games were played before victory was gained.
