MILDURA SETTLEMENT.
GOVERNMENT AID. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph-Copyright Sydney, May 9. The Premier says that the statement by the Minister of Agriculture, to the effect) that the Government would assist Mildura as long as necessary was not warranted. The Government will, he adds, give temporary relief until the Commission submits its report. If the latter is adverse, the Go* vernment then will have seriously to consider what to do in the matter.
