THE LATE MRS. MENTEATH.
[BY telegraph.— corbbspondbnt.] Wkiaingtok, Saturday. The funeral of the late Mrs. A. A. S. Mententh took place this morning on the arrival of the Mahinapua. The body Was taken to the residence of Mr. Menteath in Moles-worth-street. From that place the funeral sbarbsd, and proceeded bo tho Karori Cemetery. A groat number of handsome wreaths had been sent by sorrowing friends, one bolng from Government House. The chief monrnors were Mr. Menteath, Major Elliott (cousin to the deceased), and Mr. John Duthie, M.H.B.
