The Now Zealand Cricket Jounoil met to-night to consider the terms offered by the various associations in tho oolony for a visit of the Australian team next season. It was resolved that alternative offers be made to the Australian eloveu for £650 for five matches, based on guarantees from Hnwke's Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, Southland, as the takings of the New Zealand match, or seven matches on terms offered by different associations, with a minimum guarantee of £150 for the New Zealaud match; that it be a condition that the matohes either be played out or that there be three days' play, with the exception of matches at Napier and Inveroargill, which would be limited to two days.
