Butter dull, 80s to SSs. Danish, fallen 3 kroner.

The English wheat market shows a general decline of 6d. The Continental is steady, and the American is declining. No. 1 best Scotch pig iron, f.0.b., in the Clyde, 4iss 9d. Sugar, flat. German, 12s 3d; Java, 13s 9d.

WOOL. Londoh, May 7. At the wool sales medium merinos are from par to 6 per cent, below the March rates; faulty sorts, from 7J to 10 per cent, : greasy crossbred*, 5 per cent.; coarse, from par to 5 per cent. Messrs. Jacomb, Son, and Go. report that the decline is probably due to purchases in the colonies being below Loudon, and also to bad trade iii America.
