The first concert of the season of the All Saints' Orpheus Club will be held in All Saints' Schoolroom on Thursday evening. The annual moating of the Referees' Association (Auckland branch) will be held on Thursday evening at the Clubroom, Metropolitan Hotel. An interim dividend of 6d per share has been declared in the Union Oil, Soap, and Candle Company, Limited. It is- notified elsewhere that the headquarters office of the Theosophical Society (New Zealand 'section) will ha open on the days aud at the hours speciSed, ' Mr. A. T. Ngata, M.A., and licensed interpreter, will commence lessons in Maori on the 27th inst., provided there are enough pupils to form a class. A notice in reference to i> muster of the Auckland Naval Artillery at Fort Cautley, ' to-day, appears iuour advertising columns.
