[B7 telegraph— CORRESPONDENT. Paeroa, Saturday. During the week Mr. J. Maeandr6w received at his timber yards 40,000 feet) of kauri and kahikatea timber. The tender of Mr. John Macdonnell has been accepted for the erection of the new Roman Catholic Church at Waihi. The Hon. W. Jennings, who was injured at Waitekauri on Thursday through being thrown from his horse, is progressing very favourably, and he hopes to be well enough to leave by train for Auckland on Monday next. ' In reply to a telegram sent by Mr. J. Macaudrew. of Paeroa, the following has been received from the Hon. R. J. Seddon "Government have decided not to permit removal of license from house situated on reserve at Rocorua."
