The Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrived from |\Vhangarei last night, and leaves for the same place again at eight o'clock to night. Last night the Northern Company's steamer iona left for Kuaotunu and Mercury Bay. The Northern Company's steamer Chelmsford left last evening for Tairua, Wliangatnat.i, and Wiakatane. Last evening the Northern Company's Steamer Douglas left for Whangarei. The Union Company's steamor Dingadee leaves for the East Coast and Wellington this evening. Early thia morning the Northern Company's steamer Clansman arrives from the North, and leaves for Tauranga at 7 p.m. The schooner Clansman berthed at the Queeu-street Wharf yesterday, and commenced discharging her cargo of oats from Dunedin.

To-morrow the New Zealand Shipping Company's cargo steamer Te Koa leaves Wellington for London. The barquentine Ocean Rovi;r arrived at Mangonui on Wednesday evening, from Gisborne, after a passage of 14 .days. She loads timber for Sydney. This afternoon the steamer Nguuguru leavss for Whangarei. The barque Natal Queen has commenced discharging her cargo of coal at the QuayStreet Jetty, Yesterday morning the schooner Queen from this port to Hokiauga passed Cape Maria Van Diemeu. The Lord Spencer, Leahy, of Liverpool, sailed from San Francisco tor Queenstown, for orders, with a cargo of wheat (in sacks), on the 9tii April, 1895, and has not since been heard of.

THE TILLIE BAKER. The American barque Tillie linker, Captain ™ W, Carty, arrived from New York, via Wellington, yesterday afternoon, with a part cargo of American merchandise. The barquo is a fine wholesome looking vessel of the usual type of the American vessels which visit this port, and was built at Harrington, Maine, in 1876. This is her first voyage to Now Zealand, and though having the reputation of being a fast sailer, did not have an opoortunity of showing what she could do on the voyage to Wellington, owing to unfavourable winds having been met with". The barque sailed from New York on September 14, and passed the Equator on the list day out. Average weather was experienced crossing the Southern Ocean, and tine to moderate weather to the Snares; thence unfavourable winds and weather, and thick ion along tho coast. Made Wellington Heads on January 9, but was blown off by a strong northerly gale, and did not get to port until the 17th. Having put out hor consignments for that port, the barque sailed for Auckland on January 29, and met with variable moderate weather along the coast until arrival at 5 p.m. yesterday. The vessel comes to the agency of Messrs. Arnold, Cheney, and Co.,and will berth at the Quaystreet Jetty this morning to discharge, and on completion loads up for New York with kauri gum.
