[Br MMUKAPa.—PttKSH ASSOCIATION, J. Wellington, Friday. The weather was again unfavourable for the Wellington Racing Club's Meeting: A strong nor'-wester prevailed with threatening weather. No rain fell until towards the latter part of the day, and it was then only a drizzle. The attendance was not more than 2000, many being frightened by the dark outlook in the capital racing was witnessed. Speculation was not so brisk as the second day last year. From an even start Tile Miser and Stepfeldt cut out ii merry pace, with Ranaipuhi last.
