According to tho annual seed reports, there had been a large acreage of cowgrass and red clover, and a fair crop of white clover, much of It, however, irregular in colour. Italian ryegrass, not a largo crop, but the low price of foreign had tended to keep the price unusually low. Sainfoin, fair, crops of both saint and common ; scoured in good condition. Rape, fine black samples source. Tares or vetches much more plentiful than was at one. time expeoted. Windsor beans woro nob much inquired for for picking in the green state, consequently there w,ere many more than , would be required for spring sowing.
