PROTEST AGAINST BRITISH ANNEXATION.
BRAZIL DEMANDS ITS RESTORATION. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.— Rio de Janeiro, January 21. The Brazilian Government demauds the restoration of Trinidad, in the South Atlantic, which, some time since, it was reported Great Britain had annexed, and threatens to cease diplomatic relations unless the request is complied with.
