The Great Powers propose that the foreign consuls at Aleppo should mediate between the Porte and the Zeitoun rebels. , Constantinople, December 26. Turkish troops defeated the Druses at Suedich on Saturday. It is officially stated that the Druses lost 12,000, and the Turks several hundred. Sir Philip Currie, British Ambassador, has victoriously demanded the recall of the Governor of Mush tor inciting Moslems to massacre Armenians in the Van district.
