The Union Co.'s steamer Flora left yesterJay afternoon for East Coast and Southern ports. Last night the Northern Co.'s steamer [ona left for Kuaotunu and Mercury Hay. The Northern Co.'s steamer Chelmsford left last evening for Tairua, Whangamata, and Whakatane. Last evening the Northern Co.'s steamer Douglas left for Whangarei. The Northern Co.'s steamer Clansman arrives from the North this morning, and leaves for Tauranga in the evening. Yesterday morning the barque Northern Chief went up to Chelsea to discharge the balance of her cargo of coal at the sugar works. The Union Company's steamer 1 avium arrived at Russell from this port yesterday morning. She took in 400 tons at Opitu, and left in the evening for the Islands. Early this morning the Northern Company's steamer Wellington arrives from Vi'hangarei, and leaves for the tame place again to-night. The barque Allonby was towed to an anchorage in the stream yesterday afternoon, where she will complete her loading of timber for Liverpool. 11.M.5. Katoomba arrived at Napier froir. this port yesterday morning. The baiquentine Hamlalsle has completed discharging her ci,rgo of coal at Chelsea. Yesterday the Union Co.'s steamer Wakatipu arrived at Wellington from .Sydney with 116 passengers. The ship Borrowdale has a large quantity of wool 011 board now, and the 'tween decks are almost filled. On Monday last the iiarquentine Monarch arrived at Wanganui from Newcastle alter a smart passage. On discharge she proceeds to the Kaipara to load timber for Svdney. This afternoon the steamer Ngunguru leaves for Whangarei. The barque Antares has arrived at Levuka from Fremantle to load copra for Europe. On Wednesday night the Tyser steamer, Star of England, left Wellington for London. The Union Company's chartered steamer Mount Sirion is expected to arrive from Calcutta and Singapore to-day. The ship Prins Valdemar, from Rio de Janeiro, called off Otago Heads on Saturday last, and was ordered on to this port, to load for London, under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, following the Borrowdale on the berth. Yesterday the barque Selkirkshire sailed from Otago Heads for Napier, to load for London.

THE TE ROA.

The New Zealand Shipping Company's fine cai'no steamer Te lioa, Captain I '. Canese, arrived from Wellington at noon yesterday. She berthed at the Railway Wharf in the afternoon, and will commence taking in frozen meat, wool, etc., for London this morning. The Freezing Company will ship about 5000 carcases of mutton. To-morrow the steamer leaves for Waitara, wiiere a further consignment of frozen meat will be taken on board, and will then proceed to the South to complete her loading.

THE UPOLU.. Yesterday afternoon the Union Company's steamer Upolu, Captain George Cruwshaw, arrived from Fiji with a cargo of raw sugar, fruit, etc. Mr, R. Barnes, tho purser, to whom we are indebted for lata Suva papers, reports The Upolu left Auckland at 5.30 p.m. on the sth instant, and was abeam of Mount Waßbiiigtouat7a.m. on the 10th,reaching Suva at 2 p.m. the same day. Left again at mid-day the following day, reached Levulsa at 6 p.m., and left again at 11 a.m. the next dav. arriving at Suva at 5 p.m. Proceeded to Navua on the morning of the 13th. took in sugar ami bananas, and arrived back at Suva at 2 p.m. on the 14th ; finally leaving Suva for Auckland at 8 p.m. the same date; passed Mount Washington at 2 a.m. on the 15th, was abeam of the Poor Knights at 5.30 a.m. on the 19th, reaching the wharf the same day at 1.30 pin. Had light and moderate S.E. winds and sea on the run down; fine weather was experienced in the group, and light E. and N.K. winds and line weather on tile run up. This morning tho Upcln will proceed up to (Jliolsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar, and will leave for Wellington in the evening.

THE ANGLIAN. Tho Huddart-Parker steamer Anglian is expected to arrive from Sydney this morning, and is announced to leavo for East Coast and Southern ports to morrow morning. The steamer only proceeds as far as Lytteltou this trip.
