London, November 17. The Hon. J. N. Wilson, M.L.C. of New Zealand, is dead.
Napier, Monday, A cable message recoived on Saturday evoning Announced the death on the 14th insfc., at Weybridgo, England, of the Hon. J. N. Wilson, till lately membor of the Legislative Council of New Zealand, and senior partner in the old legal firm of Wilson and Ootterill, of Napier. _ The immediate cause of death was cancer in the throat. Deceased, who was an English solicitor, hud practised in London soma years prior to his arrival in this country, was an old colonist. He arrived in New Zealand in 1859, was called to the bar of the colony in that year, and shortly after took up his abode in Napier. He practised here for more than 30 years.
