STONE A CO.. 83, Queen-street, Legal Managers and .Mining Agents. PROSPECTUS OF THE EUROPEAN LICENSED HOLDING, THAMES GOLDFIELD. No money required till the survey is 1 finished. Capital, 75,000 Shares at 3s, nil paid up. . 10 Shares reserved for the use of ihe Company, 30 Shares reserved for the Promoters, 35 Shares to be offered to the Public a' £25 each (representing 1,000 Scrip each share). Cost of Survey, Lease, and Prospecting to be paid to the Vendors out of the proceeds of the thirty-five shares offered to the Public, the balance (less brokerage on the 35 shares) to go ' towards working of the ground. The Claim con- ' fflists of an area of (30) Thirty Acres situate at tho head of the Karaka Creek, in the same locality as the famous Bell Rock and Dillon's Lead, the lastnamed being a great gold-producer, yielding at Pull's Battery 13oz to the ton, from several parcels ■ of stone taken from the lode at its outcrop. Two immense reefs traverse this property, and it is ' acknowledged, runs right through the European " ground, and also several other well-known reefs, such as the Mary Fallen, Greenstone, and Lucky Hit, runs right through this property The European also adjoins the old Lincoln, being in a wellknown part of the Thames Goldfield, offers exception:.! inducements for the investment of capital for a speedy return. A Machine Site has been r pegged off, with the intention of erecting a battery, which, when erected, will add a great value to the European, as a shoot is all that will be required to send the ore right into the machine. • A battery is erected about half a mile below the above mine, and could be connected by a wire tramway at very little cost. Another battery is shortly to be erected in closer proximity to the European, consequently there will not be any delay occasioned getting ore of any srade to the battery at a minimum cost. In former days work » was stopped on account of the heavy expense (about £25) per ton to get ore carted to a battery. Those days have passed, and new methods of treatment have since been discovered which, with rich quality of ore to treat, should return a handsome reward to investors. "Thames, 25th September 1*95. To the Shareholders of the European Licensed Holding : Gentlemen,—ln compliance with your request, I have visited and inspected your ground, and have much pleasure in stating that I find it situated in a most favourable locality, and in the midst of several gold-bearing reefs, which have been worked in former days with very good and payable results. lam of opinion that the Lincoln reef runs through your ground, and that the gold which has been got in the latter is from this reef, which was worked in th« early days of the goldflelds with such payable results. Very little work has been done on this reef more than prospecting on the surface, Ihe Lucky Hit and the Greenstone reefs, with various other reefs and leaders, should, I think, be found in your ground, and without any hesitation I recommend your property as a good and likely prospect for shareholders to be remuneiated for any outlay which may be required for opening up and prospecting the ground. The latter can be done very S cheaply, as only tunnelling will be required foi many years to come.—l have the honour to be, gentlemen, your obedient servant, Thos. Radford, _ mine manager New Whau G.M. Co." The prospectus is now ready, application to be made to C. B. Stone P and Co., Legal Managers, 83, Queen street.
