Otaieri, Norton, lUisaco, Khor, Mutiny, Unity, Barmm, Crystal, Somnambulist, Nozel, Spreydon, M»arua, lUren, Dromedary, Aorore, Austral*. Strephon. Liberator, Kaika, Langley the Devil, Kapua, Seddon, Waterlily. The introduction of Carbine into England by the Duke of Portland has evidently had tho effect of causing other breeders to go in search of the much-prized Musket blood. We understand that inquiries have been instituted in Auckland during the past few days in the direction of ascertaining the price required for two Musket sires, and the information has been cabled to London. Mr, J. B. Williamson received a cablegram from Sydney this week to the effect that Ballyhooley won tho Steeplechase at the Sydney Turf Club Meeting held at Randwick on Saturday last. Mr. Morrin has nominated Day Star (by Castor—Cissy) for the Maribyrnong Plate, St. Leger, and Sires' Produce Stakes: and Armilla (by Castor—Necklace) for the Maribyrnong Plate.
