SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

Tauhoa.—At the annual meeting of householders there were nine householders present. The chairman was Mr. S. F. Boler. The following candidates had been duly nominated, viz. :— A. Peterson, L. Fletcher, E. T. Boler, G. Ogle, A. S. Boler, A. H.Steventon, and S. F. Boler, and were declared elected. The balance-sheet for the past year was read and approved. At a meeting of the School Committee S. F. Boler was again elected chairman, secretary, and treasurer. Several accounts were passed for payment as soon as funds were available.— [Own Correspondent.! Dome Valley.— At the Dome Valley school Mr. George Moor occupied the chair, and read the balance-sheet, which showed there was a balance in the bank of £3 Is ; in the treasurer's hands, £2 4s 3d. The inspector's report was considered highly satisfactory. The following committee was elected :—Messrs. J. A. Pethcrick, W. Grimmer. James Blair, W. Phillips, \V. Angove, J. Phillips, jun., and H. Phillips. As no quorum was present, the committee did not meet, and the secretary was directed to inform the Board and to ask that another day for. meeting might be appointed.—[Mahurangi Correspondent.]
