February 26 saw this removal, from th« Herald temporary offices to the new build, ings, of the New Zealand Herald and th« Auckland Wekkly News. In the evening, the electric light installation was in f u [j work, and the new buildings, although not open for business, were visited by very large numbers, who wen*, through the portions of the building opened. The completeness of the arrangements, and the space available for business, were matters of general com. ment, the Herald new buildings being abreast of the best newspaper offices in the newspaper world. From Feb. 27 the pub. lishing and commercial departments con. nected with the Herald and Weekly News will be permanently located in the "Herald Buildings."
