SUICIDES.

A young woman named Moore committed suicide at Paruwauui, on Feb. 27, by eating match-heads.

A telegram was received on March 11 at the Auckland Police station from the postmaster at Rawene, Hokianga, stating that Edward Lennan, one of the village settlers at Motuknraka, had committed suicide by hanging himself in one of the back rooms of the Kohukohu Hotel, where the body was found suspended that morning.
