Berlin, March 20.. A vessel laden with dynamite exploded at Nesel, on the Rhine. Twenty-five men were killed.

There were fifteen tons of dynamite on board, this part of the cargo being intended for transhipment for Australia.

The explosion destroyed two other ships, which Were lying near at hand, and the shock was felt miles away. Every house in the vicinity was destroyed, and in the outlying villages many people were injured, thus leading to the belief that ah earthquake had occurred.
