London, March 19. Messrs. Anderson and Co, joint managers of the Orient Steam Navigation, Company, are asking shippers to deposit 20 per cent, on account of the general average of the Oroya's cargo. Many of the shippers refuse to comply, on the ground that the demand ought to have been in Australia.
