TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—ln your leader today you justly say the first five minutes is the time to cope with a fire. So say I. Let the insurance companies offer £100 or such other sum as they think proper, for the best practical suggestions for dealing with fires in their first stnge and for any other practical suggestions relating to the matter, and I am sure good will result to themselves and the public.—l am, etc., .
