DR. LAISHLEY AND JUSTICES' JUSTICE.
-'\ -•'■'•'-: TO THE EDITOR. ' Sib, — You' state in.a 'local in to-day's issue that I said at the Police Courb yesterday that " there was little chance of justice being obtained from justices," But I did nob say so. The ; reason 1 I gave for my objection to going before justices was that " there was no ' certainty' in their administration of justice." It may nob be irrelevanb to mention that on the same morning, in the same Court, another solicitor pressed for, and obtained, an adjournment of a case on account of the objection to justices hearing it. — am, etc., R. LAISHLIy. 22nd January, 1895. < J \
