AQUATICS.
AUCKLAND YACHT CLUB.
A committee meeting of the Auckland \acht Club was held, last evening, there being a full attendance. Mr. J. L. R. Bloomfield presided. A letter from Mr. J. Ansenne, on behalf of the owners of the yacht Zinita, was read, regarding the late dispute over the measurements of the Zinita and the Gloriana after the contest at the Ponsonby
Regatta. After some discussion it was resolved, " That we find the ratings as worked out by Mr. Goldie from figures supplied to him by the moasurers of the Ponsonby Regatta Club were correct according to those figures, but ve believe that the measurements were not correctly taken, so therefore we cannot give a decision as to which vacht was entitled to the prize. Messrs, E. E. Vaile, G. Niccol.C. H. Smith, and R. Logan, jun., were elected members of the club. It was decided to extend the time for receiving entries for the vice-commodore's trophy race for 5-raters up to 5.30 p.m. on Friday next, and for the fear-commodore's trophy for cruisers of his class up to 5.30 p.m. on February 1.
