The annual picnic of St. Matthew's Sun-day-school will take place at Takapuna tomorrow, as will be seen by advertisement elsewhere. A number of dogs will be offered for sale at the city kennels, to-day, by the dog registrar. The Town Clerk notifies elsewhere that the City Council intend to levy a rate of a halfpenny in the £1 upon all assessable property in the city, under the Libraries Act. . Lovers about to marry can furnish surprisingly cheap during J. Tonson- Garhck'a "Cub. Sale."
