ELECTRICAL DISTURBANCE AT SEA
[B7 TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] . Wellington, Thursday. Captain Killam, of the barque Star of the East, reports having experienced a most unusual aerial disturbance on the morning of the Bth January, when about 110 miles
off Cape Campbell, The morning was beautifully clear, nob a cloud to be seen anywhere, and, after a few flashes of lightnine, which prompted the captain to shorten sails as quickly, as possible, he found the vessel in the centre of some extraordinary electrical disturbance, which lasted about two and a half hours. The vessel's head was carried round in a circle, as if in a whirlpond. Captain Killam says he never had such an experience during the thirty years ho has been at sea. ____=———
