THE BISHOP OF SALISBURY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS .ASSOCIATION.] Donedin, Thursday. A conversazione held to-night to welcome Dr. Wordsworth, Bishop of Salisbury, at present on a visit to the colony, was attended by a large number of Anglican clergy and representative laymen. Bishop Neville cordially welcomed Dr. Wordsworth, who in reply spoke at considerable length, dealing mainly with the ideal Church of England policy and the Old Catholic movement, in connection with which he has taken a very prominent position.
