THE WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD.

Wellington, Thursday. The Harbour Board's operations for the last year show the profits have been £1414. The tonnage arrived was 1,026,008 tons, and the receipts of the harbour master's department £6058. The cargo handled in wards and for transhipment was 173,026 tons ; exports, foreign and coastal, 47,797 tons. Compared with previous years there is an increase in all branches except hemp, which shows a decrease of 25,827 bales.
