SUBSIDISED CRUISERS.
TO BE MANNED BY MEN OF THB NAVAL RESERVE. Press Association.—Electric Telegraph.—Copyright London, September 27. The Admiralty propose to man the subsidised cruisers with officers and men belonging to the naval reserve, beginning with the Himalaya, Australia, Victoria, Arcadia, two Cunard liners, two White Star liners, and three vessels of the Canadian-Pacific Company. Eventually the proposal is to be extended to 26 vessels.
