[BY TELEGRAPH.— association.] Wellington, Tuesday. A fikrce nor'-wester has been blowing all day, with rain threatening. Much similar weather prevailed yesterday. Evidently Captain Edwin's predicted gales have approached earlier than he anticipated.. Mr. Grey, of Auckland, has been appointed shorthand reporter and typewriter, and assistant private secretary to the Premier. West port, i Tuesday. A tremendous eea is breaking on the coast, and the Grafton and other steamers are unable to leave the port. ;
