[Br TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION,} Invercargill, Friday. V\ r . J. Atkinson was committed for trial on the charge of burning a house at Grove Bush with intent to defraud the insurance companies. Evidence was given thab he bought only seventeen shillings worth of timber, but stated to the police that the house was a two-storeyed building.
