The rainfall returns for the lash month show that ab Greymouth there were 15 days of rain, with a total fall of 16-24 inches ; at Hokifcika, 13 days, with a total fall of 1225 inches. The Bealey, with B*9l inches ; and Puysegur Point, with B'l6, come next on the list. Auckland had a total fall of 1*42 inches for nine days' rain ; Wellington, 4"06 for 10 days ; Christchuroh, 5-13 for 7 days ; and Dunedin, 3'97 for 13 days.
