The committee of the Pakuranga Hunt Club have drawn up the following programme of events in connection with the Garrett Benefit Meeting, to be held at Ellerslie Racecourse on Saturday, April 28:—Handicap Hurdle Race of oOsovs., one mile and three-quarters; Benefit Handicap of 60sovs., one mile; Pony Handicap of SOaovs., six furlongs; Shorts Handicap of 40sovs., five furlongs; Pony Hurdle Handicap of 30sovs., one mile and a-halt ; Maiden Handicap of 30sovs., seven furlongs; Steeplechase Handicap of 60sove., about two miles and a-half. Nominations are due on Saturday next.
