THE WELLINGTON MEDICAL ASSOCIATION. The recent proceedings in the Senate of the New Zealand University relating to the Otago School of Medicine have aroused the Medical Society here to new activity. It is broadly affirmed that the Chancellor (Sir Jas. Hector) has no status which would give to his deliverance on this subject any authority whatever. It is also affirmed that in no case should the teacher of a medical pupil be appointed an examiner before whom such pupil was to be examined. The medical men. here renew their declaration ; that there are not adequate means and appliances for the teaching of clinical medicine in any of the New Zealand cities, that where there is lack of efficiency in the holder of a diploma not only the public health bub the lives of individuals are pub in danger.
