At the Magistrate's Courb yesterday, ■ H. W. Northcroft, Stipendiary Magistrate, gave judgment in the claim for damages brought by Isabella Howard, widow, against Lawrence A. Levy, financial agent an sharebroker. Mr. Northcroft said he y . nob think that the plaintiff had done w| y thing to ratify the acts of her son. . . regard to the case Mackenzie v. Br Linen Company, quoted by Mr. 1 th#6 be (Mr. Northcroft) did not think that > case went far enough to make Mrs. H liable. He accordingly gave the plaintiff, with costs, £6 l°s.
