The Union S.S. Company's steamer Waihora, Captain John Anderson, arrived from Sydney at 6 a.m. yesterday morning. She left Sydney at 10.40 p.m. on the 3rd; cleared Port Jackson Heads the same day at 11.30 p.m. Breasted the Three Kings at 8 a.m. on the Bth,. and passed the North Cape the same day at 12.30 p.m., and arrived as above. Experienced strong and fresh easterly winds, with head sea, to the Bth, thence moderate S.S.E. winds to arrival. The Waihora left again for the South late last evening, taking a large number of passengers. _ _ The ship Forfarshire cleared at the Customs yesterday afternoon and is now only waiting for a favourable opportunity to leave. Her cargo is a very valuable one and consists almost entirely of New Zealand produce. The barque Freetrader has been fixed by Mr. M. Miccol to load timber at Mangonui for Sydney. The barquentine Pendle Hill, at present in the South, has been fixed through Messrs. Younghusband and Co. to load, for the Kauri Timber Company, at Hokianga for" Sydney. The Argyle arrives from Tairua and Kuao- i tunu this evening. The Union S.S. Company's steamer Dingadee left Gisborne at 9 o'clock yesterday morning for this port, and should therefore j arrive this evening. The Northern S.S.
