The . Wellington Education Board and the Kilbirnie School Committee are at loggerheads over the appointment of a headmaster for the Kilbirnie school. The Board, it seems, selected a certain applicant, and submitted bis name, with those of other applicants for the position, to the school committee for approval. The committee, however, made an independent selection, which the Board refuse to approve.. The committee has resolved to adhere to its own choice.
