A large number, of trout fry are to be distributed during this and next month, as follows:—In t e Pahautanui Stream, 5000; Waikanae 3000; Paraparaumu, 2000; Ouki. 50.W0; Ohau, 10,000, Tokomaru, 10,000; (Shannon, 3000; and Pohangina, 50,00». A total of 133,000. It has also been lidded to liberate rainbow trout in a strain on Messrs. Holmes Brothers' propertj at Matahiwi, and to put 1000 young specimens of the American brook char in the /eservoir at Karon.
