' Fourteen thousand Moors have proclaimed a holy wVir and threatened Melilla. • \ The Spanish Government is sending reinforcements amounting to twenty thousand troops. They have also seized a British schooner which was supplying the Moors with arms. Madrid, October 9. News has been received from Morocco tliat the Moors fired on a Spanish gunboat off Cape Tresfores. The gunboat replied, killing many.
